Register 1: Coronation of the Virgin; angel crowning the Virgin; throne decorated with quatrefoils; Christ making a blessing gesture; two kneeling angels holding candlesticks.
Register 2: Death of the Virgin (Dormition); Christ making a blessing gesture; apostles including saint John the Evangelist holding a martyr's palm; apostle uncovering the Virgin's feet; Assumption (Virgin in a mandorla borne to Heaven by angels); angels swinging censers in the spandrels.
Foliated wild man face in the gable. Beaded border.

Traces of two missing hinges on either side.
Polychromy - Gilding
Faint traces of polychromy: red in the right cusp of the trefoil arch.
Object Condition
Missing: point of the gable; right angel's hand and candlestick on register 1.
Cracked. Chipped along the lower edge.
