Attack on the Castle of Love; men assaulting the castle; man climbing a ladder; ladies on the battlements, holding flowers; shields; man with a crossbow throwing flowers; lady on horseback leaving the castle; knight in armour galloping towards the castle.
Corner terminals: four crouching hybrids.

This mirror case is very close to a piece in the Wallace Collection (S245) which is currently considered to be French, early 19th century.

Missing: head of the top left hybrid, body of the top right and bottom left hybrids.
