Courting couple (meeting of lovers); youth holding a pair of gloves; lady holding a chaplet.
Corner terminals: four crouching monsters.

Beaussart 1993: France, 1st half of the 14th century.

Back turned with a depression for (missing) mirror.

Object Condition
Surface very damaged, implying the piece was probably buried for some time.
Missing: nose of the upper left monster.

Provenance
Probably found in an archaeological context, judging from the state of the piece. Acquired by the museum before 1927.
