Polychromy - Gilding
Faint traces of gilding: ochre bole for gold (?)(hair). See unpublished condition report by Juliette Levy-Hinstin, May 2014.
Reverse
Flat with multiple notches.
Object Condition
Missing: right foot (later replacements), arm of the cross, big toe of the left foot (glued back into place).
Hole in the left hand indicating that the saint would have originally held an object made of a different material or of a different piece of ivory.
Three holes in the underside. Holes in the back.
