Side 1: Standing Virgin and Child (Vierge glorieuse); Virgin trampling a winged dragon (basilisk); two angels holding candlesticks; Christ seated on left arm; Christ holding a fruit or orb in his left hand; blessing gesture.
Side 2: Crucifixion; Virgin and Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist; sun and moon.
Angel supporting the volute. Foliated decoration: vine leaves or bryony leaves.

Reverse
Carved in the round.

Object Condition
Missing: part of Christ's right arm and part of the cross in the Crucifixion scene; arms and body of the angel supporting the volute; candlesticks held by the angels in the Virgin and Child side; part of the angel's right wing.
Foliated corner terminals chipped. The volute broke in two parts along a vertical axis and has been repaired.
