Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the left side.

Polychromy - Gilding
Extensive traces of gilding and polychromy: architectural details, hair, garments, along the hems, etc.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Ink inscription: '.JMV./II.27'.

Object Condition
Missing: upper and lower left corners, vertical crack and missing piece along the upper edge. Broken around the hinges.

Collection of Victor Martin Le Roy, Paris (at least from 1906 to 1924). Sold, Finarte Semenzato, Venice, sale 'Eredi (heirs) Carlo de Carlo', 19 December 2002, lot 5; Thomson Collection, Toronto: bought from Sam Fogg, London, 10 July 2003; since 2008, The Thomson Collection at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), Toronto.
