Register 1: Christ in glory; angel holding the sun and moon; angels holding Instruments of the Passion (nails; crown of thorns; spear; cross); Virgin and saint John the Baptist kneeling.
Register 2: Adoration of the Magi.
Destrée 1902: France, early 14th century.
Koechlin 1924 and Brussels 1964: France, 2nd third of the 14th century.

Hinges
Probably originally one hinge on either side but these parts have broken away and been replaced.
Reverse
Flat and smooth.
Object Condition
Breakages. The background plaque was possibly removed later. According to Koechlin, it consisted of a wooden plaque.
Missing: repairs to the left and right borders where the hinges were.
