Reverse
Curved, smooth with some scoring.
Object Condition
The relief broke along a vertical axis in two pieces which have been put back together.
Missing: Christ's head and hands; upper part of the Virgin's head; parts of the Virgin's veil.
The Virgin's robe is chipped to the left.
The Virgin's bust and head may have been partly recarved.
Worn. Two holes in the neck of the Virgin, possibly to attach it to a background surface.
Provenance
Donated to the Museo Arqueológico of Valladolid in 1879; transferred to the Museum in 1931.
