Width: 90mm

Handle: under an ogee arch, king trampling on a bearded man; sceptre (saint Louis?); brickwork or tiled roof.
Frame: Game scene (?); men playing badminton; rackets; courting couple (meeting of lovers); lady holding a rosary; two hunters; hares; running dogs.

Paris 1913: France, during the reign of Louis XII (r. 1462 - 1515), late 15th century-early 16th century.
Schnitzler, Volbach and Bloch 1964: France, c. 1520.
