Crucifixion with thieves; crowd of onlookers and soldiers; Virgin supported by saint John the Evangelist and Holy Women; soldiers in armour; saint Mary Magdalene embracing the foot of the cross; titulus.
Crosshatched background; foliated border; decorated columns.

Reverse
Curved and smooth. The handle which was originally set into a chamfered slot in the back has been replaced with a later metal handle.

Object Condition
Crack at the top of the piece, above Christ's left arm.

From Marac (canton of Langres), parish church of Saint-Léger.
