Provenance
Acquired by the Kunstkammer in Berlin in 1844; part of the collection of the Bode Museum (Inv. 687) until 1923 when it was de-accessioned; given by the Museum in exchange for another work to a 'H. Wendland' (could be Hans Wendland, art historian).
