Width: 60mm

Register 1: Coronation of the Virgin; two angels swinging censers, standing on the sides of the bench.
Register 2: saint John the Baptist holding the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei); saint Clare, as a nun holding a pyx; saint Bartholomew with a flaying knife; saint James the Greater with pilgrim's hat and staff.
Pointed trefoils.

Museum's opinion 2011: France or Italy, last quarter of the 15th century.

Reverse
Round blue and white label with inscription: '1126?'. White label with ink inscription: '155 from the Shandon [?] collection'.

Provenance
Shandon [?] collection (this could be the collection of Robert Napier (b. 1791, d. 1876), Shandon, in Dumbartonshire). Bequest of Alice Baird, Geneva, 1926 (via Mr Baird and Mrs van Muyden-Baird, her heirs).
