Crucifixion, with jet of blood striking the Virgin's chest; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers; cruciform halo; angels holding Christ's hands.
Pierced trefoils; brickwork or tiled roof.

The frame is decorated with a coat of arms with the Arma Christi, cherubs, scrolls with inscriptions, tracery and foliated scrolls.
The scene is usually with the Virgin to the left and saint John to the right.
