Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist.
Medallions with rosette of eight petals in the spandrels.

Museum's opinion 2012: French, 14th century.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Remains of a label.

Object Condition
Pierced by two holes in the upper centre, chipped on the left edge.
The lower part of the panel has broken off and been glued back into place.

Comments
The hands and feet of Christ are unusually large.

Provenance
Collection of Dr. Peter Wings, Aachen; his bequest to the Museum in 1893.
