Flat and smooth. Blue and white label with the inscription: 'V 339'.

Vertical crack in the lower part of the right wing.
Comments
This piece was inspired by the metalwork Reliquary of the Holy Cross of Floreffe, executed after 1254 for the Abbey of Floreffe in the Diocese of Liège (Paris, Musée du Louvre, OA 5552).
Provenance
In the collection assembled by Alexandre Le Grand for the museum before 1888. Described in a pre-1888 handwritten inventory kept at the museum as: 'Triptyque ivoire gothique: 2 anges portant une croix formant reliquaire.' (p. 6).
