Depth: 2-7mm

Man of Sorrows; hands crossed holding a palm; crown of thorns; tomb; interior with two windows.
Twisted columns. Foliated decoration in the spandrels.

Giusti 1999: Italy (Veneto), 1st half of the 15th century.

Reverse
Curved. An ivory handle is set into a chamfered slot in the back.

Object Condition
Dark brown stains along the lower edge on the back and on the handle.

Provenance
Acquired on the art market, Milan.
