Angels and apostles.Musician angel playing the harp. Saint Peter with the key. Saint Paul holding a sword. Musician angel playing the psaltery.Saint Andrew with a saltire cross. Musician angel playing the rebec (or viola). Saint James the Greater with pilgrim's hat, staff and satchel. Saint Bartholomew with a flaying knife.Saint Simon with a saw. Saint James the Lesser with a fuller's club. Saint Matthias with an axe. Saint Judas or saint Thomas with a spear.Crosshatched background.

Bologna 1959: Northern Italy, early 15th century.

According to Marciano, the apostle holding a spear is saint Thomas.
