Reverse
Recessed to receive the wax, with a raised border.
Label with 'HC' monogram (probably for 'Henry Clarke') and '41'. Art Treasures Exhibition Wrexham, 1876 label with 'Henry Clarke Esq' signed. Christie's label with initials 'FZ' and '193'. '949 TK (6)'. 'Tablet - Receptacle for wax inscribed with stylus. Annunciation - 14th century.'

Object Condition
Ivory partially cracked. Drilled for suspension.
