Object Condition
Very damaged, multiple cracks. The panel has broken into two pieces which have been put back together (see two 'nails' and two other holes on either side of the crack).
Central hole in the upper part of the panel.
Provenance
From the church of Wollersheim. Collection of Alexander Schnütgen (b. 1843, d. 1918); Schnütgen donated his collection to the city of Cologne in 1906 and the first Schnütgen Museum opened in 1910.
