Hinges
Possibly originally ring hinges, as no sign of the usual tenon hinges.

Polychromy - Gilding
Originally painted and gilded compositions on the back. From left to right and upwards: Christ rising from the Tomb, Maries at the Tomb, Harrowing of Hell, Noli me tangere, and possibly two kneeling angels in prayer.

Object Condition
Missing: centre panel.

Comments
The missing central panel may have been a single large ivory block (would have been 330 x 152 mm).
