Extensive traces of polychromy and gilding: gold (hair); red (inside the Virgin's veil); blue (Virgin's cloak).

Carved in the round.
Object Condition
Missing: crown; head of Christ (replaced); object in the Virgin's left hand (flower?). Left foot of the Virgin partly broken.

Collection of Anthelme and Edma Trimolet: donated by them to the Museum in 1878.
