Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges.
Reverse
Flat and smooth. Longer edges chamfered. Traces of two later hinges on the back.
Circular blue and white label with traces of illegible inscription.
Object Condition
Lower left corner of the left wing chipped.
Missing: upper left corner of the right wing.
Vertical crack in the middle of the right wing.
Provenance
Probably in the Sapieha family collection in Krasiczyn Castle (Poland) before 1939. Confiscated by the communist Ministry of Public Security of Poland in 1952; on loan to the Wawel Royal Castle from 1954 to 1998; donated by Michał Sapieha to the Wawel Royal Castle in 1998.
