Traces of polychromy on saint John's tunic.
Reverse
Reverse divided into 5 compartments, the central one being circular. This indicates that this panel originally was part of a set of writing tablets. Traces of a dark blue (?) pigment.
Object Condition
Central hole in the upper part of the panel which has caused it to crack.

Bequest from M. Ed. de Biefve in 1882.
