Pointed trefoils. Pinnacles. Crosshatched background.

Object Condition
Two later drilled holes (probably for later hanging).

Comments
Two lines, incised along the top and at the bottom, cut through the frame on both ends, possibly to allow sliding the panel into an outer frame.
Probably part of the same ensemble as a panel now in the British Museum (Dalton 309).

Provenance
Collection of Ernest Brummer (bought from Donath, Paris, in 1958): his sale, Galerie Koller and Spink and Son, Zurich, 16-19 October 1979, lot 78.
