Height: 184mm (ivory only)

Seated Virgin and Child; Christ seated on the Virgin's left knee; Christ in long robe; tender gesture of Christ touching with his right hand the Virgin's chin; Virgin holding Christ's foot in her right hand; crown.

Radiocarbon dating prepared by Uppsala University, Angstromlaboratoriet produced a 95.4% probability of a date for the ivory within the range 1210 and 1290, and a 68.2% probability of a date for the ivory within the range 1225 and 1280.

Missing: left leg of Christ (repaired).
