Hinges
Two modern hinges decorated with heads. Traces of two earlier missing hinges on the right side.
Object Condition
Crack in the lower left corner of the right wing and in the lower right corner of the left wing.
Comments
The two panels seem to have been swapped, and the Crucifixion would originally have been on the right wing.
Provenance
Collection of Baron von Hüpsch (b. 1730, d. 1805), Cologne; acquired in 1805 by the Museum; stolen in 1945 from the castle of Rauhenzell im Allgäu where the collections of the museum had been deposited.
