Saint Catherine of Alexandria; standing Virgin and Child; Virgin holding a flower in her right hand; Christ seated on the Virgin's left arm; crowned Virgin; saint John the Baptist.
Wing, right
Crucifixion. Virgin and one of the Holy Women. Saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls.

Museum's opinion 2010: French, 14th century or 19th century.

Hinges
Modern brass hinges with catch and hook. Cavities for the original plate-hinges have been filled with ivory and coloured plaster; traces of the original silver catch. (information from old Walters files)
