Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls. 

Kryzhanovskaya 2014: France (?), 1st half of the 14th century.

Traces of two missing hinges.

Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy: green (on the background).

Reverse
Flat and smooth.

Object Condition
Two holes in the background with ivory plugs.
Nose of saint John chipped.

Provenance
Collection of E. Laborie, Paris (before 1867?). Bourgeois collection, Cologne; acquired in 1879 by the Stieglitz Museum of Applied Arts; transferred to the Hermitage in 1926.
