Hinges
Two hinges on either side.

Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of gilding and polychromy: painted trefoils in the wing gables, lining of the angels' cloaks, fruit held by Christ, hair.

Object Condition
Missing: candles and flower crowning the gable (replaced); upper part of the stem of flowers held by the Virgin. Back and right side of the lower edge of the centre panel restored.

Provenance
Collection of Lancelot Théodore, comte de Turpin Crissé (b. 1782, d. 1859); his bequest to the Museum in 1859.
