Register 1: Christ washing the feet of the apostles; Last Supper with saint John the Evangelist leaning on Christ's breast; Christ feeding Judas across the table.
Register 2: Annunciation; vase of lilies; dove of the Holy Spirit; Visitation; Nativity with Annunciation to the Shepherds; shepherd holding bagpipes; swaddled Christ.
Leaf 2
Register 1: Agony in the Garden (Christ at Gethsemane); apostles asleep; trees; Betrayal (Taking of Christ; Kiss of Judas); Christ restores Malchus' ear, cut by saint Peter; lantern.
Register 2: Adoration of the Magi; Herod ordering the Massacre of the Innocents; Massacre of the Innocents; soldiers.
Leaf 3
Register 1: Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls; Entombment (Anointing of Christ's body), with the Virgin.
Register 2: Raising of Lazarus; entry into Jerusalem; foal of the she-ass.

Hinges
Traces of two missing front hinges on the right side of leaf 1. Traces of two missing front hinges on the left side of leaf 2 and traces of two missing back hinges on the right side of leaf 2. Traces of two missing front hinges on the left side of leaf 3.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Traces left by a metal frame on the reverse of each panel, especially the third one.

Object Condition
Central hole in the upper part of each panel. Traces left by a metal frame on the reverse of each panel, especially the third one.

Comments
The missing leaf, which should go between leaf 2 and leaf 3 depicting the Presentation in the Temple, the Flight into Egypt, the Flagellation and the Carrying of the Cross, was used in 1898 as central element of a composite 'pastiche altarpiece in the collection of consul Becher (Frankfurt am Main; Sammlung Karl Becher (Frankfurt am Main, 1898), no. 60). Its current location is unknown (see Kryzhanovskaya 2013).
