Hinges
Two original hinges.

Polychromy - Gilding
Extensive traces of polychromy (blue in the background; red in the spandrels) and gilding (hair, patterns along the hems; harness; architectural details), unidentified painted kneeling tonsured figure above the head of the central figure, possibly the donor.The polychromy and gilding appear to be original. The blue is lapis lazuli.

Object Condition
Both hinges are broken.
Missing: part of saint Martin's left foot.

Ozenfant collection, Lille. Private collection, Northern France. Bought thanks to the J. H. Wade Fund from Julius Bohler, Munich, in 1971.
