Twisted columns; scalloped arch; foliated decoration.

Curved. The handle which was originally set into a chamfered slot in the back has been lost. Remains of a pencil inscription.
Object Condition
Missing: part of the left side; end of the sceptre or cross held by Christ. Right hand side column chipped.
Provenance
In the collection assembled by Alexandre Le Grand for the museum by 1888. Described in a pre-1888 handwritten inventory kept at the museum as: 'Un Intrument de Paix en ivoire vénitien: Ecce Homo. XVIe siècle.' (p. 6).
