Height: 1960mm (with staff); 560mm (volute only).
Width: 310mm (volute)
Depth: 80mm (volute)

Coronation of the Virgin; two standing angels holding candlesticks.
Along the outside of the volute: twelve apostles coming out of palmette-like leaves; double-sided God the Father making a blessing gesture.
Around the base of the volute: three unidentified standing saints; saint Catherine of Alexandria with wheel, sword and martyr's palm.
Foliated decoration; dragon head.
Painted inscription: 'MARIA DEL CIEL RAINA MADRE DEL NOSTRO SIGNORE SPERANCA DI PECHATORI TVTI I CIELI AVVI SE INCHINA'.

Museum's opinion 2011: Venice, end of the 14th century.

Carved in the round.

This crozier is made of numerous separate pieces.
