Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of gilding in the hair, traces of red on the lips.

Reverse
Flat. Uncarved. Scoring in the upper part on the back of the statuette.
Carved from a thin curved piece of ivory. Backed with a fill of hard wood (chestnut) to stabilise the figure.

Object Condition
Missing: candlestick.

Part of the same ensemble as Inv. 71.185. See related objects.
