Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of gilding: patterns along the hems.

Reverse
Later hole in the back, possibly for a relic.

Object Condition
Missing: right forearm and hand of the Virgin; fingers on both hands of the Child.
Broken fold on the Virgin's left side.
