Extensive traces of gilding and polychromy: gold (hair; along the hems), red (mouth; crowns), pink (flesh), green (clothes)
Reverse
Carved in the round.
Object Condition
Missing: head of Christ.
Drill hole on the underside (probably modern).
Provenance
Collection of Baron von Hüpsch (b. 1730, d. 1805), Cologne; acquired in 1805 by the Museum.
