Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy: green (candlestick); red (flame).
Object Condition
Missing: upper part of the panel featuring the arch (the capital where the arch sprang is still visible to the right). The left border also seems to have been repaired.
Comments
This panel certainly was the left wing of a triptych featuring the Virgin and Child in the centre panel and another angel on the right wing.

Collection of Fritz Witte: his donation to the Museum in 1920.
