Standing Virgin and Child (Vierge glorieuse; Virgo lactans); two standing angels holding candlesticks; saint George kneeling in prayer; coat of arms.

Randall 1993: English, 3rd quarter of the 14th century.

Hinges
Two missing hinges.

Object Condition
Trimmed on three sides, still has hinge marks on the right side.
Missing: lower left corner.
The lower side was cut for a mount. Old hole drilled in the lower right corner.

Collection of Alfred Lehmann, Paris: his sale, Hôtel Drouot, Paris, 11 June 1925. Collection of Robert H. Tannahill, Detroit: given by him to the Institute in 1943.
