Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls. 
Pointed trefoils.

Kalf 1913: France, end of the 14th century.
Utrecht 1945-1946: France, 14th century.
Utrecht 1962: France, mid 14th century.
Koekkoek 1987: Germany (?), last quarter of the 14th century.
Museum's opinion 2011: c. 1375-80.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the left side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Engraved cross. Engraved letter 'R'.

Object Condition
One hole on either side of the torso of Christ.

Provenance
Given before 1911 to the convent by Mgr. G. W. van Heukelum, from Utrecht.
