Two hinges.
Polychromy - Gilding
Extensive later gilding and polychromy: blue (background), red (frame) and gold (architectural details and frame).
Reverse
Not visible due to the 19th century wooden frame.
Object Condition
A metal strip has been inserted in the central gable of the Crucifixion panel. The cross above Christ's head seems to have been added and to be made of a different material.
Provenance
Bequest of Marquess Giuseppe Sigismondo Ala Ponzone in 1842, and previously inventoried as 'Antico Inv. Ponzone XI.N, n. 91'.
