Holy Family; saint Anne with the Virgin and Child ('Anna Selbdritt'); saint Anne holding an open book; naked Christ; canopy; crown.
Foliated decoration in the spandrels; columns.

Stuttmann 1966: Netherlands (?), end of the 15th century.
Museum's opinion 2013: Netherlands (?), 2nd half of the 15th century.

Reverse
Curved. The handle which was originally set into a chamfered slot in the back has been lost.

Object Condition
Central hole in the upper part of the piece.
Very worn.

Provenance
Collection of Friedrich Georg Hermann Culemann (b. 1811, d. 1886), Hannover (no. 459); acquired by the city of Hannover in 1887.
