Comments
Mounted with four pins to the lid of a sundial with a compass in 1578, by Hans Ducher/Tucher in Augusta (Augsburg). Inscription on the sundial: 'HANS DVCHER', and dated 1578.
Provenance
Possibly in Augsburg in the 16th century (?). Public art collection (pre 1870; mentioned in 1859 catalogue) which became part of the Historisches Museum when it opened in 1892.
