Register 1: Entombment with the Virgin praying; shrouded body of Christ.
Register 2: Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist; chalice collecting Christ's blood at the foot of the cross.
Border of dentils.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the left side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth.Printed label: '405'. Label with handwritten inscription: 'MNK.XIII V.391'.

Object Condition
Very worn. Vertical crack in the lower register. PIerced hole in the upper part of the panel for hanging.

Provenance
Czartoryski collection (listed in the catalogue of the collection in 1865 in the Hôtel Lambert in Paris; handwritten catalogue 12309, pp. 204-205).
