Comments
The crozier is considered a relic of Beato Mainardo, bishop of Urbino (1056-1088).
Provenance
Said to have belonged to Beato Mainardo, bishop of Urbino from 1056 to 1088, but this tradition is contradicted by the later style of the piece. Considered to have belonged to the bishop of Urbino Oddone Colonna (1380-1408). From the treasury of Urbino Cathedral.
