Traces of polychromy and gilding in the hair, veil, and along the hems, red on the lining of the Virgin's cloak.

Uncarved.

Missing: object in the Virgin's left hand.
Comments
Carved from a curved piece of ivory. Was originally attached to a shrine or diptych. Iron hook (possibly replacing original pin) piercing the centre of the figure.
