Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women and saint John the Evangelist; saint Mary Magdalene embracing the foot of the cross; soldier and onlookers; titulus.

Museum's opinion 2012 : Italian, mid 14th century or late 19th century.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on either side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth.

Object Condition
Missing: upper right border; lower left corner (repaired). Stained strip in the lower part of the panel.

Provenance
Bought from the Brummer Gallery, New York in 1930.
