Hinges
Two later hinges.

Polychromy - Gilding
Extensive traces of polychromy (later; from the Baroque period, according to Randall 1993): blue and dark red (garments).

Reverse
Flat and smooth.

Object Condition
Later hole drilled in the upper part of each panel.

Provenance
Sotheby's, New York (?), 16 May 1968, lot 52. Bought thanks to the Arthur and Margaret Glasgow Fund from the Blumka Gallery, New York, in 1969.
