Nativity and Annunciation to the Shepherds; swaddled Christ; musician shepherd playing a wind instrument.
Wing, right
Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls.
Pointed trefoils.

Object Condition
In each wing, a drill hole at the top of the central gable; narrow cracks; a deep crack in the right wing.

Collection Edwin Oppler, Hannover: his sale, Berlin, Rudolph Lepke's Kunst-Auctions-Haus, Berlin, 25 February 1913, lot 138; purchased in 1913 by the Landesgewerbemuseum at the Oppler sale; transferred to the Württembergische Landesmuseum Stuttgart in 1968.
