Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist; Longinus piercing Christ's side; Stephaton giving Christ vinegar. Deposition; Joseph of Arimathea holding Christ's body; man with pincers removing the nail from Christ's feet.

Trace of one missing hinge on the left side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Ink inscription: 'JMV. II.22'.

Object Condition
Missing: lower left corner.

Comments
This scene once was the upper or lower register of the right wing of a diptych with three registers. Hole on the left side where the hinge once was. It may have come from the same diptych as another fragment now in the Victoria and Albert Museum collection, Inv. Circ.1018-1925 (see Williamson and Davies 2014). See related objects.
