Side 1: man and woman preparing to play 'kick foot' in a tilt yard; spectators watching from behind the railings.
Side 2: nude boy with a bow and nude boy with a hand cannon, shooting at a duck; putti; youth pulling the stocking of a seated woman.
Crosshatched background. Floral terminals.

Randall 1985 and Museum's opinion 2010: French, c. 1490-1500.

Carved on both sides.

Object Condition
Small and large teeth have all been replaced by sections set into the frame.

Provenance
Collection of Countess Petronio: sold, Paris, 24 June 1921, lot 58. Bought by Henry Walters from H. Wareham Harding in New York in November 1921; Walters Art Museum, 1931, by bequest.
